Far Wise As
Elite pedigree. Powerful combination. Proven performance.
A Modern International Combination That Sparks Excellence
Far Wise As represents what is arguably the most sought-after European bloodline in modern breeding. As a son to Face Time Bourbon, named Elite Stallion in Sweden, he belongs to an exclusive group descending from one of the most influential trotters of our time. Face Time Bourbon combined superior speed, strength and an exceptional competitive mindset – qualities that have already proven highly heritable to his offspring. Far Wise As will be the first son of Face Time Bourbon to stand at stud in Sweden.
The maternal line is equally impressive and firmly rooted in international elite class. This is a strong, performance-proven family, renowned for durability and long-term excellence. Few horses have demonstrated the talent and toughness of Far Wise As’s brother Vivid Wise As, a Group I winner already at two and still victorious at the highest level at ten years of age when capturing the Gran Premio Duomo (Gr I). His career included 22 Group I victories – surpassed only by the legendary Varenne.
The dam Temple Blue Chip is an exceptional broodmare whose legacy continues to exceed expectations, particularly in combination with Face Time Bourbon. Her produce includes Vivid Wise As (SEK 41,187,784), Far Wise As (SEK 3,857,646), All Wise As (SEK 2,926,338) and Crown Wise As (SEK 1,649,642). She is also the dam of Zed Wise As, herself the producer of top-class performers Golden Gio (EUR 178,260) and Fantastic Gio (EUR 135,246) – both by Face Time Bourbon. Furthermore, All Wise As has made a striking start as a broodmare, producing the world record holder Wise Guy (SEK 3,871,250) – once again by Face Time Bourbon.
This unique combination of international elite pedigree, talent and proven performance makes Far Wise As a highly attractive choice for breeders who want to stay at the forefront of modern breeding.
Two times Group 1 winner
Far Wise As showed his exceptional ability early on. From his first starts as a two-year-old, he displayed both speed and the right attitude, progressing rapidly toward top-level competition.
At three, he captured his first major victory in a Breeders Course final (Gr II), followed by an authoritative win in the short-distance E3 (Gr I). Driver Johan Untersteiner commented:
– It was a pleasure to sit behind Far Wise As from the very first time. You feel grateful when you get to drive a horse like this – he is a wonderful individual!
At four, a break compromised his chances in Kungapokalen, but redemption came swiftly with victory in the Sprintermästaren final (Gr I). After the race, Carl Johan Jepson said:
– He is a magnificent horse and simply proved to be the strongest today. He won with plenty left – this is a top-class performer.
In total, Far Wise As has recorded seven career victories so far, with a personal best of 1.10.4am. He has clearly proven his ability to compete with the very best of his generation, both in Sweden and in France.
Qualities for Future Breeding
Far Wise As has been semen-tested with positive results and will be available with both fresh and frozen semen to a limited number of mares during the 2026 breeding season. He is scheduled to stand at Broline throughout the entire 2026 season.
An exciting opportunity for breeders aiming to produce new generations of elite trotters.
